Finishing Touches

We are in the final phase, adding the last of the finishing touches in preparation for our dedication and open house on Sunday, August 9. We hope everyone will join us at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. for a special dedication service and then return for our open house from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. We will give guided tours of the newly renovated space and serve light refreshments.

Enjoy the photos below and check back soon for more. Thanks again to everyone who gave of their time, talents and money and to those who provided diligent prayer support for this project. God is good!

Words of Appreciation

This journey started way before our Servant Summit in
January, as the need for more space became more clear
each week. It is hard to believe that seven months later
we are here! Words cannot truly express my joy at the
completion of this project. I have stood amazed at the
awesomeness of God’s grace and provision.

I would like to thank the Renovation Committee for their
love and the way they have embraced this task. They
have prayed and sought God’s direction and have been a
people of integrity. Each have been a blessing and joy to
serve with. I want to thank my friend and co-minister,
Danny Davidson, for his sweet servant’s heart and
support. Thank you Brother David for believing in me,
even when I didn’t. I could not do what we do with our
children without the love and gifts that Brittany Curd
gives each and every week. The entire church staff has
prayed and given words of encouragement and support
daily.

I truly feel God sent a blessing in the form of Kenny
Williams. He has served as the General Contractor for
this project and has given of his time and effort all for the
love of his church and Christ. His wisdom and guidance
has made this project much easier. Kenny, thank you on
behalf of a loving and grateful congregation.

To this body of believers called First Baptist Church, I am
blessed beyond measure at your love and support for this
project. Your creativeness and faithful giving have been
such an example of Christ's provision and love. May you
honor God for His many blessings and give Him the glory!

With a Heart Full of Love,
Bro. Michael
